Using a collection of data, specifically New York's Museum of Art and Design permanent collection, I discovered a large portion of the collection was created during times of war or conflict. With little on the web or even in art history books, to survey wartime art and artists, I created an interactive timeline that allows users to explore art works in the context of conflict. I also wanted to give viewers the ability to emotionally respond to the work. They can tag pieces with a keyword/tag that is saved and associated with that work for others to see. Viewers can view the works both by their image and by their tag.
